The event took the form of a board game, with participants moving pieces to complete various tasks one by one. Throughout the activity, children and parents exercised together, sang together and embraced those around them, allowing the love they usually keep close to their hearts for their families to be expressed openly during the event, creating new and joyful interactions in a relaxed and lively atmosphere.

The grand finale featured a special backdrop displaying the children’s handwritten ‘words of appreciation for Mum and Dad’, and everyone was invited to share ‘the things Mum and Dad taught me over the years’. These heartfelt words created a warm and touching atmosphere.

Although the entire event took place within the modest confines of the care home, it was imbued with deep familial affection and simple happiness, leaving a profound and beautiful mark on Parents’ Day.
