Recently, the Day Care Service of the Mother’s Association’s Ha Wan Integrated Elderly Services Centre organised a ‘Thank You for Being There – Mother’s Day Event’, taking elderly residents and their families on an outing to visit the Macao Science Centre. The event took place over three days, with a total of 54 participants. On the day of the event, the elderly and their families were guided through various themed exhibition centres, where they enjoyed fun, interactive science activities, had afternoon tea and took photos at popular spots, all in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The event aimed to stimulate the cognitive abilities of the elderly, enhance their knowledge of science and technology, and foster positive interaction with their families. The response from participants was enthusiastic, and the occasion was filled with love and gratitude. The centre will continue to organise a variety of activities to enrich the lives of the elderly and strengthen family bonds.
