On 25 and 26 June, the Mother’s Home Outreach Care Service organised the second season of birthday celebrations for the elderly residents at the centre, honouring those with birthdays between April and June. Everyone joined together to offer their most sincere birthday wishes to the celebrants and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ together. presented them with birthday gifts, and strengthened the residents’ sense of belonging. Through group birthday celebrations and craft activities, the event fostered emotional connections amongst the residents. The polymer clay craft sessions helped to develop hand-eye coordination whilst stimulating the residents’ creativity and imagination, creating an afternoon filled with laughter and warmth and leaving them with unforgettable birthday memories.
