On 26 and 27 March, the Mothers’ Association’s Home Care Service organised the first quarterly birthday celebration for the elderly residents at the Centre’s care home, marking the birthdays of those born between January and March. Everyone joined in to offer their best wishes to the birthday celebrants and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ together. and presenting them with birthday gifts. This allows the elderly to feel valued and cared for, enhancing their sense of belonging and happiness. Through these joyful celebrations, we aim to foster social interaction and connections among the elderly, affirming the value of their lives and giving them the warmth of being remembered, thereby transforming their birthdays into moments filled with joy and a sense of fulfilment.
