Dinner in Honour of Parents

Organised by the Mother’s Association, the ‘Celebrating Parental Love’ dinner saw residents head to the Macau Tower with hearts full of excitement and gratitude. The dinner commenced shortly after 6 pm, with the residents receiving heartfelt blessings from President Ho Ting-yat. The dinner then began, featuring a performance of the well-rehearsed ‘Doraemon’ dance by our home’s staff, residents, and children from St John’s Nursery (Nova Baixa). This performance, brimming with childlike innocence and joy, was met with cheers and applause from the elderly residents and guests in attendance.
Afterwards, the residents continued to enjoy the fine food whilst watching the performances on stage; they all felt grateful and content with the Mother’s Association’s meticulous preparations. Once the banquet concluded, the residents returned to the home and soon fell into a deep sleep, a clear sign of how fully they had immersed themselves in the event.
