The Neighbourhood Association’s ‘Assistive Technology Resource Centre’ visited our care home to deliver a special lecture. The speaker provided a detailed explanation of the different types of assistive technology available and the relevant purchase subsidies. Following this, the guest took the initiative to enquire about residents’ practical experiences of using assistive technology in their daily lives and offered advice. There was lively interaction during the session, and both residents and their families expressed that they had gained a great deal from the event.
