Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival Celebration

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of China's cherished traditional celebrations, a joyous occasion when children play with lanterns and savour mooncakes. The Mothers' Association St. John's Nursery (Causeway Bay) upheld this tradition by hosting a ‘Mid-Autumn Lantern Celebration’. Through flexible nurturing approaches and engaging Mid-Autumn stories told by nursery teachers, the children gained insight into the festival's customs, activities, and seasonal delicacies. The youngsters also experienced the joy of making mooncakes firsthand using specialised moulds.
